PREMIER HOME DESIGN & DÉCOR FLOORING
ROCK’N FLOOR
Floors are kind of like the bass player of a really great band…they don’t always get all of the applause and attention, but without them providing the rhythm, the melody of the home’s design can’t sing. We are pushing flooring into the spotlight for a moment to showcase some amazing luxury products you might consider auditioning for your band.
Wood—Refined Rustic
Reclaimed wood is still hot, both for its distinctive patina and character as well as the ecological benefits of re-using these beautiful natural resources. Our selections from the American Barn Collection by Vintage Wood Floors are handcrafted from old barns, buildings, and structures of the 1800’s and early 1900’s. We chatted with the owner Joe Pfeiffer who told us that a blend of “refined rustic” was the most asked for look.
Stone—Timeless
Stone flooring has always been and will always be in style, just ask the Romans. Here we have Dalle de France, hand-crafted to resemble centuries old chateaux floors. We chose this Antique Limestone from Exquisite Surfaces for its rustic and timeless charm but also its versatility. This look compliments both modern and classic design tones and can transition from indoors to out.
Carpet—Comfort
Sometimes you just need to feel the warmth and softness of carpet under your feet. To that end we bring you the cutting edge of green carpet technology, an all natural New Zealand Wool, and carpet tiles for the pattern adventurous.
Mohawk leads innovation in sustainable flooring with SmartStrand® carpet with DuPont™ Sorona®. The science of it in the simplest terms is that 37% of Sorona is created from corn sugar, a renewable resource. The non-science part is that it looks and feels amazing.
On the other carpeted hand, Agave Reflections from Karastan is crafted from the finest wool from Wools of New Zealand, a renewable and biodegradable fiber that also happens to be one of the top choices for luxury carpeting.
Custom rug design at non custom prices…that is what you find with FLOR carpet squares. You can truly mix and match to your heart’s content, creating an area rug or wall-to-wall carpet look.
Tile—Bright & Bold
You have the design Gods permission these days to get a little wild with your tile. The Paccha line of cement tiles from design guru Ann Sacks celebrates the traditional and local craftsmanship of Morocco in a fresh, modern aesthetic. Go for sunshine with Yolk & Milk or stay slightly more restrained with Chocolate & Milk.
