Designer Dialogue: Wallpaper
With Design Diva Interiors, Kropat Interior Design, and D.Coop Spatial Design.
If these walls could talk…these designers talked and shared some of their favorite wallpapers and a few special tricks of the trade.

“GET CREATIVE with where you install your wallpaper. There’s nothing that says you can’t put it on ceilings, doors, or integrate it into custom cabinetry, etc. That’s exactly what we’ve done here…wallpapering both an accent wall and inset as a backdrop to the shelves. This wallpaper comes from another one my favorite vendors Atrium Wallcovering, atriumwallcoverings.com. Keep in mind that it’s important to not only find the right wallpaper, but also to find a reputable installer. A poor install can ruin the look of even the most amazing wallpaper!”
Holly Peterson, Owner/Principal Designer, Design Diva Interiors, designdivastudio.com
“WHO I’M LIKING for wallcoverings at the moment…Lots of sparkle but also some great graphics.”
Brandon A Smith LEED AP, Principal d.coop dcoopsd.wordpress.com

“GO BOLD in a smaller room where people don’t spend a lot of time, such as a powder bath, to create an unexpected and fashionable space. Wallpaper behind an open bookcase for a more subtle statement. Choose a softer pattern for behind a headboard to extenuate the bed and add some romance. One of my favorite sources is Cole and Sons, an old company still hand making great quality wallpaper and they have modern styles to historic classics.”
