Calling all fans of Warhol. A good friend of mine texted me this morning with a photo of soup cans… now not just any soup cans but brightly colored, pop, fun, Warhol inspired Campbell’s Tomato Soup cans that she got for 75¢.
Honoring the 25th anniversary of the pop and contemporary art icon’s passing these are just one example of Warhol’s lasting influence in pop culture and art, far longer than the 15 minutes he predicted we would all have. My friend is displaying her’s proudly on a bookshelf.
